SECTION I — CLEARANCE PROTOCOLS

Clearance Requirements for IMG-03 Engagement

  • Level 2 (Confidential): May access basic awareness training; no direct contact.

  • Level 3 (Controlled): Authorized for support roles (perimeter security, evidence recovery).

  • Level 4 (Classified): Full operational clearance for containment, field engagement, and serum-handling.

  • Level 5+ (Restricted): Required for serum administration, toggle testing, or post-exposure human subject review.

Chain of Command:

  • All operations must report through Division Chief (Ops/Research).

  • Field units may not deploy serum or antidote without Level-5 medical authorization.

  • Amnestic deployment requires dual sign-off (Ops + Psych).

SECTION II — ONBOARDING DIRECTIVES

  1. Familiarize with the Phenomenon: IMG-03 is not a “ghost.” It is a biological anomaly capable of violence and mimicry. Never underestimate its tactical learning.

  2. Understand Detection Limits: Visual confirmation is useless. Train eyes on indirect signs: dust displacement, sound anomalies, thermal gaps, laser scatter.

  3. Respect Survivor Testimony: Paranoia is common but often points to operational blind spots. Survivors are not “liabilities”; they are data.

  4. Protect the Cover Story: Civilian populations must never know the term “Invisible Man.” Standard cover: domestic break-in, industrial accident, gas leak.

SECTION III — “DO NOT” FIELD LIST

  • DO NOT enter low-visibility zones without multi-sensor backup (thermal + LIDAR + audio triangulation).

  • DO NOT rely on voices for identification — subject excels at mimicry. Verify identity only via challenge-response code phrases.

  • DO NOT attempt grappling without particulate sweep or detection harness; contact without prep results in “grabbing air that punches back.”

  • DO NOT play personal audio (family recordings, voicemails) in the field. Subject can weaponize them.

  • DO NOT administer serum or antidote to self under any condition — breach = Level-6 disciplinary.

  • DO NOT assume Subject is gone after silence. Entity has remained within 2–3m proximity for hours without detection.

SECTION IV — SERUM HANDLING & WEAKNESSES

RD-SERUM-v1 (“Griffin Serum”)

  • Stored in Site-12B cold vaults.

  • Handled only under triple-lock protocol; removal requires dual Level-5 authorization.

  • Effect: Induces optical negation; onset 15–60 minutes depending on dose.

  • Weakness: Long exposure causes neural degradation, mimicry onset, paranoia.

RD-ANTIDOTE-v1 (Toggle Compound)

  • Stored adjacent to serum; issued only in paired doses.

  • Effect: Dissolves A-R lattice; restores visibility.

  • Weakness: Antidote ineffective on lattices older than 72 hrs; risks inflammatory cascade and seizures.

Operational Notes:

  • Toggle works best when administered early.

  • Overuse (multiple toggles) destabilizes neural integrity and produces mimicry behaviors.

  • Serum cannot suppress heat displacement fully — thermal imaging is the most reliable countermeasure.

SECTION V — TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Courses (All Level-3+ staff):

  • Sensor Suite Familiarization: 12 hrs — operation of thermal, LIDAR, and ultrasonic grids.

  • Particulate Deployment Drills: 6 hrs — effective dispersal of dust/paint sweep in hallways.

  • Challenge-Response Protocols: 8 hrs — memorize current phrase cycles, rotate monthly.

  • Psychological Countermeasures: 10 hrs — managing auditory hallucinations, resisting mimicry influence.

  • Serum/Antidote Handling (Level-5 only): 20 hrs lab and simulation.

SECTION VI — WEAKNESS SUMMARY (FIELD QUICK-REF)

  • Optical: Invisible, but detectable via dust, water, rain, and coherent laser sweep.

  • Thermal: Only partial masking — IR still shows signature.

  • Auditory: Mimicry is precise; trust code phrases, not voices.

  • Psychological: Serum toggling induces paranoia, dissociation, identity mimicry. Exploit with calm challenge-response and controlled silence.

  • Environmental: Struggles in particle-dense environments (smoke, fog, flour dust). Use these conditions for advantage.

SECTION VII — PENALTIES & DISCIPLINE

  • Unauthorized self-dosing of serum = Level-6 breach; immediate containment, debrief, and possible termination.

  • Negligent fieldwork resulting in civilian exposure = court-martial under Directorate Code.

  • Distribution of IMG-03 materials outside Directorate = automatic redaction order.

CLASSIFICATION: LEVEL 4 — CONTROLLED

CLEARANCE QUICK CHART

  • Lvl 2 — Awareness only.

  • Lvl 3 — Support / perimeter.

  • Lvl 4 — Containment ops.

  • Lvl 5+ — Serum/antidote handling only.

TOP 5 DO NOTs

  1. DO NOT trust voices — confirm with code phrases.

  2. DO NOT enter blind zones without sensors.

  3. DO NOT grapple without particulate sweep or detection harness.

  4. DO NOT play personal audio on site.

  5. DO NOT self-dose serum or antidote — breach = termination.

SERUM / TOGGLE NOTES

  • Griffin Serum (RD-SERUM-v1): Invisibility onset 15–60 min. Weakens psyche over time (paranoia, mimicry).

  • Antidote (RD-ANTIDOTE-v1): Restores visibility in minutes. Limited to lattices <72 hrs; late use risks seizures.

  • Pair together, never solo.

WEAKNESS QUICK-REF

  • Thermal: Heat signature still detectable.

  • Optical: Dust, rain, laser sweeps reveal outline.

  • Auditory: Mimicry vulnerable to code challenge.

  • Environment: Dense particles (smoke/flour/fog) disrupt effect.

REMINDER

If you can’t see it, it can still see you.
Silence is not safety.

CLEARANCE LEVELS (IMG-03):

  • L2: Briefing only

  • L3: Patrol perimeter

  • L4: Containment duty

  • L5: Medical / Serum

DO NOT (FIELD RULES)

  1. DO NOT believe voices — use challenge code.

  2. DO NOT enter dark/empty rooms without dust sweep.

  3. DO NOT attempt capture without partner.

  4. DO NOT bring personal tapes/photos on site.

  5. DO NOT inject serum without written Level-5 order.

SERUM / ANTIDOTE (RD-SERUM-v1 / ANTIDOTE-v1)

  • Serum onset: ~30 min. Side effects: paranoia, mimicry.

  • Antidote restores visibility (works best <72 hrs).

  • Overuse → seizures / breakdown.
    Always carry both, never one.

KNOWN WEAK SPOTS

  • Thermal still shows outline.

  • Rain, dust, smoke reveal edges.

  • Challenge phrases beat mimicry.

  • Crowds confuse it — isolation is risk.
